My aim is to provide an opportunity for you to work towards living in a more fulfilling way.

Counselling and psychotherapy can offer you a deeper self-awareness and insight that can help overcome adversity, resolve issues and build up your own resources and resilience. This in turn can bring about a greater sense of well-being and improve your quality of life.

Psychotherapy offers a space where difficult and sometimes painful experiences and emotions can be heard. Being listened to in a compassionate way facilitates acceptance leading to change and transformation. Being heard can offer you freedom from beliefs and perceptions that are limiting you; opening up new ways of relating with yourself, others and the world.

Psychotherapy is a process whereby you (the client) are helped to explore, understand and ease distress and concerns through a confidential and meaningful therapeutic relationship with me (your therapist). I provide a safe place for you to deal more effectively with problems, through an experiential process of deep listening. I work towards the integration and wholeness of mind, body intellect spirit and heart. I believe that we all have the capacity for healing and resolution. My job is to facilitate you to access this inner potential, using the most appropriate and relevant approach. It is for you if are suffering from personal, family and social distress; you are in crisis or  searching for meaning and purpose in life.

Working a process way, using movement and breath can be more effective in accessing and unfolding and understanding issues, rather than with just the use of words and talking.

I work on a one to one basis and with groups.  Sessions can also be conducted over Zoom or Skype.  Please contact me for more details.

I am particularly interested in finding ways to alleviate the effects of trauma and fear on our lives and in our society.
